PRICE OF PRAYERLESSNESS

Beloved Partners & Friends

People always ask me on my travels to share what I see as most outstanding and noticeable in the Church. It is very, very evident that the Body of Christ has totally ignored the four pillars of Acts but in particular, PRAYER The SIN of prayerlessness - and indeed, it is SIN - has resulted in a selfish, cold-hearted Church that has no power Without prayer, there can be no relationship with the Lord. The very evident result is religious bondage and bigotry. I marvel that few really pray and in particular the leadership. It is no wonder that the machine of the church is slowly grinding to a halt. There is no oil to keep the cogs and bearings lubricated It is very easy to read books on prayer and make resolutions to pray more but altogether different to put it into practice. We need to simply do it and herein lies a great issue. Most believers no longer even KNOW how to pray. Prayer is not adopting a certain stance, language or mode but simply opening our mouths and speaking ALOUD to the Lord It firstly requires honesty. The reason that the heavens often seem as brass is because we are simply just not honest before the all seeing eye of our Father and spend our time justifying and dodging real issues of our lives. There is nothing worse than going into a prayer less atmosphere and prayer less atmospheres begin with prayer less individual lives. Like the sun-baked ground of Southern Sudan in the winter there is nothing but dryness and bareness It is hard to preach the Word and even harder for people to hear that same Word. The SIN of Prayerlessness leads to coldness and indifference and where there is prayerlessness people always feel under CONDEMNATION Well, of course they do because the blessed Holy Spirit will convict and then conviction will bring forth condemnation and much of the church lives under condemnation - either from self or the Lord! Sin is knowing to do right and failing to do it. What is not of faith (obedience) is SIN. Prayer is not an option or a request of the Lord. It is a demand and command. The soul that sinneth shall surely die. The reason that I see death on every hand in the church and lives of individual believers is because of negligence in being tapped into our very life source.

There is such deliverance and healing in sitting down with the Lord and telling Him OUT LOUD just how corrupt and rotten to the core I really am and then simply casting myself on His mercy and grace. Prayer is having conversation with HIM and pouring out my heart until my eyes run down. Prayer is telling Him the most secret and intimate issues of my life. Prayer, real prayer will open the channels of communication and begin the flow of deep emotion which is so important to the believer. Prayer will leave you with a deep sense of acceptance, oneness with the Lord and wholeness within. Above all, prayer will bring the unity of theSpirit.

Believer, stop looking at payer as a task and burden and begin to see it as a delight and joy in communication with the Lord Almighty. Stop exactly what you are doing RIGHT NOW, put down this newsletter and just talk ALOUD to the Lord and feel the LIFE seep into the depths of your being, dispelling the cold and warming the soul with Him.

SHARIA LAW

This is the law of the Koran as written by Mohammed and practiced by fundamental Islam today. This means literal interpretation of the Koran. For owning a Bible, sharia law demands the amputation of a hand. For theft, it is amputation of the right hand. This is not done surgically but with a sword or axe in the public square without anesthetic. For adultery it is stoning to death or beheading with a sword if you are lucky. Sharia law degrades women to being a chattel or possession of a man. Women may be beaten and flogged at the will of their husband. A woman receives half the inheritance of her brother and her testimony has only half the weight of a man. Sharia Law breeds fear and absolute control by the clergy who are religious bigots. The Koran has no place for forgiveness. The Koran is the writings of a demented, possessed sexually depraved man and has nothing to do with the Lord Jesus Christ.

In the Bible College, there is hardly a student who does not have a relative or friend that has not had a leg or arm chopped off, an eye put out or some other major disfiguration of their body and in most cases there was not even a trial or certainly not a fair trial. So much for Sharia Law and yet many westerners want to live under such.

“While doing research on the U.S.-led Empire's support for Muslim extremism in Iraq and Turkey, I chanced upon an important Associated Press (AP) dispatch whose contents were never made public.
Based on that AP dispatch, and some of my own research, this is what I know: On the 16th and 17th of December, 2002, the powerful IDLO (International Development Law Organization) held a conference in Rome, ostensibly to discuss reforming the Afghan legal system. This conference, or 'Roundtable' as it was called, was followed by a second conference, sponsored by the Italian government. The AP (Associated Press) reported that after the second conference, the director-general of the IDLO made a statement to the press. He said the conference had endorsed the use of Sharia, or Muslim religious law, as a sound basis for any modern legal system! Nobody has published this news!

I located the IDLO Website. There I learned a bit more. …... (To be continued in June Newsletter).

TESTIMONIES FROM NEW SUDAN

MVOLO COUNTY, NEW SUDAN
The first miracle I saw was when we came back from the 18 hours journey. We went to preach the word of God at 11:00 pm and I was really ready to go to bed, in fact sleeping was a big problem. I sleep on a small plastic sheet. At the time I was still outside while my friends were all dead -sleeping . I was really very tired and in pain, all my legs were paining. While I was there meditating there comes some two women. They spoke some words which I could not know the meaning or I could not know what they are talking about, for they do not speak Arabic nor English and at the same time I was alone in the middle of the night, thus 12:30pm. While dealing with these two women some four women arrived, all together they were six, they all do not speak Arabic or English, too tough I looked to heaven and shouted Lord! Lord! Give me a word. Straight away I started speaking in tongues God revealed to me what they wanted. Prayer! A scorpion bit one girl; she was in pain for three weeks and that night she has been to a witch doctor but nothing happened. I laid my hands and prayed for both. When I said AMEN, they were all quiet and they left. That was at 2:00 am. At 7:00 am I received message that the one under pregnant gave birth to a baby boy and she named him PAUL after my name. And the other one also received healing that same night "Surely you are a man of God" theysaid. The news spread into the village so many people started coming for prayers for healing. We prayed and preached the Gospel / the goodnews. The people did not want us to leave Mvolo for Yei. Love you always pastors. My God bless and look after you. Paul (student)

B.A Testimony
PILLAR OF CLOUDS

I was among the team that went to Eastern Equatoria -Magwe County. We traveled quite well through Ugandan boarder at Kaya South of Yei and Oraba North West of Uganda and crossed again into New Sudan through Adjumani - border town Extreme North West of Uganda into a small village in the New Sudan called Nimule. We got to a place called Larpi towards Pashala. The sun heat was out raging overhead and our heads were like bursting. I asked Pastor Dana Yasona Dada, hey pastor what do we do with this sun heat? (They always wanted me to pray, but this time I better ask them to pray before they turn it to me I thought) sure enough they were quick to roll the ball to me. Well! I better seek God for solution, then I prayed, after an hour just like the old days of Israel wandering in the wilderness God had us and put a canopy of clouds over us, the whole weather at the time changed to windy and cool breeze whirling around us, we became strong and able to walk faster -that wasGod!
Nimule Hospital:
We went to visit this Hospital; it was full of children 120 kids suffering from various diseases and sickness. Our team leader organized us and started pulling down the strong of the enemy in Nimule Hospital; we laid hands on the patients and commanded the sicknesses and diseases in Jesus name! Come out and Be gone and leave the kids alone. The next day when we came to visit the Hospital, the 120 kids were all discharged. Praise the name of the living God! Halleluiah we shouted.
CONTAINER

The container has arrived in Blantyre and we are now waiting on Malawi Treasury to decide if they are going to charge duty or not. They have known for two months about the container and they have had a list of the items and they still cannot decide if they are going to charge us duty or not. (TIA – This is Africa). Today we received the news that they are going to pre-clear the container to save charging demurrage while the Treasury makes up it’s mind. This concession is only due to the prayers of the Malawi team — it is unheard of to release a container when duty might be pending.
We are now collecting for a container which we want to send in the Fall. This container will be going to Malawi for the school. We are needing good quality/new furniture for the guest cottages and office equipment and stationary for the administration buildings. We also need bedding, kitchen supplies etc. and gardening equipment. All these can be sent to:

UPDATES

Progress is being made with the school in Blantyre, Malawi. We recently had a father and son team from Arizona who went out and assisted with making the trusses for some of the buildings. Thank you.
We are excited that the team from Indiana that roofed the school in New Sudan will be returning to Africa to finish the school roofing in Malawi. They leave the beginning of August and just as there was the wonderful incentive to finish up as quickly as possible in order to visit the game reserve in Uganda and see elephant and lion there is that same incentive in Malawi. Everyone talks about the great job done on the roof of Kalibu Academy in Sudan and we know they will do the same in Malawi.

Our thanks to all those who so far have hosted Bwana and the rest of his family as they have traveled throughout the United States. The meetings have been good and your love and support has been greatly encouraging. With Bwana’s U.S. itinerary just over halfway through we have so many more places to go and people to meet and are looking forward to being with you. For those in areas where Bwana still is to hold meetings we would really encourage you to take time out of your busy schedules to go and hear about what God is doing in Africa through the ministry and to hear what is happening world-wide as it affects end time events.
