Out Of Africa

The stark reality of the world is, at times, quite shocking! The great hullabaloo over the mistreatment of prisoners in Iraq is again, out of all perspective. Where was the cry over Americans who were literally dismembered by Iraqis? Where is the cry over the terrible genocide in Sudan? Where is the cry over racial cleansing that Mugabe is still practicing in Zimbabwe? Where is the outrage over 60 million Americans aborted in the last 30 years? This is the world and it is full of hypocrisy. These are the kingdoms of this world that lounge in darkness. These are the ways of unregenerate men blinded by the prince of this world, the prince of darkness whose deeds are wicked and evil whether they be American Military Intelligence or Iraqi Republican Guards. It is really all the same - the only difference is the intensity of the evil.

BUT, we are of the Kingdom of LIGHT having been TRANSLATED out of darkness by the resurrection power of the TRIUNE GOD! Our kingdom is NOT of this world and we must, as believers, remain absolutely FOCUSED on our purpose and goal which is to so love and live for Christ that we will be a powerful witness to and light in the darkness. Jesus was never once distracted or side-lined by the kingdoms of this world and their systems. He permitted the kingdom of DARKNESS to crucify Him and in so doing, conquered it forever. He never once involved Himself in the affairs of the kingdoms of this world but faithfully preached the Kingdom of Heaven. It is so easy for Christians to be distracted and compromise the tenets of faith by being OTHERWISE focused. It is so easy for Christians caught up with the affairs of the kingdoms of this world to change their values and opinions to the norms of the world by adopting that set of standards instead of comparing them to the absolute standard of the glorious Word.

Beloved, stay focused. Our kingdom is NOT of this world. Everything about our Kingdom is diametrically opposed to the kingdoms of this world. Our Kingdom says DIE and you shall live. The world exists by the survival of the fittest. Our Kingdom says become less and less until you become the least and then HE will exalt you. The world says strive for recognition and ascendancy even to the murder of your friend. Our Kingdom says give and you shall receive. The world demands, GRAB everything you are able and if necessary, kill in the process. All that is the world - the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life is certainly not God.

As you live Kingdom principles you will excitedly discover that they transcend the world. The laws of the Kingdom of heaven work, really work, no matter where you are or what you have or do not have. God is a supernatural person and the powers of the supernatural easily over-rule the natural. The body of Christ knows of such principles but rarely sees them truly operating. All too often, men manipulate or fake results so as to appear to operate according to Kingdom principles but really are not. Keep your focus and that focus is CHRIST. The world and all that is in it is passing away but the things of Christ will last forever! Do not become ensnared by personal emotions and loyalties that draw you away from the Kingdom of Heaven and keep you enslaved to the kingdoms of this world by carnal mindset. Thinking and acting according to the precepts of the Kingdom of Heaven must be desired and then walked out in a consistent spiritual walk that glorifies Christ.

The most incredible reports are coming in of the work of the graduates as they go forth demonstrating the power of Almighty God turning New Sudan upside down for Christ. It is so exciting to be able to share these victories with each of you, our partners who has invested into the African fields. In particular there has been an amazing spate of resurrections from the dead. What makes these miracles all the more exciting is the "matter of fact" attitude of the graduates about them. They do not think themselves as anything and simply say, "You told us to do it, Pastor, and we are only doing what you and the Word say we should do!" How thrilling to be part of these incredibly shattering events that are making deep impact upon New Sudan. Support of the graduates and students WILL CONTINUE despite the fact that we will be in the throws of rebuilding. Our thanks to all those who have been supporting the class of 2004. Please do not forget to send graduation cards for your student. The latest date they should reach the Kansas City office is June 20th. Those graduates who do not receive a card from their supporter are extremely disappointed. This is an extremely important day for them.

We have an amazing support program for our workers, pastors, evangelists and students. Many have been asking about that program. For $30 a month - that is a dollar a day - you may have the privilege of supporting one of these men in the African harvest. As I have so often said, your reward will be equal with those who are doing the work. So many have been telling me how incredibly blessed they are to be involved in this program. Your supportee will be able to buy the basic necessities of life each month to take care of their families. You will receive a photograph of your supportee who is also required to write you several times a year and earnestly pray for you and your family. Now, that's a real deal. It would be wonderful for several people who have been on the support program to drop a line and share with us the enormous blessing that you have received in being a part of the support of a student, pastor or worker.

From our perspective, it has given a tremendous impetus to the unity of the staff and a great encouragement to those who labor tirelessly in the most remote conditions. I have been sharing how I called a conference in February of all the graduates. Some of those fine men walked THIRTY MILES A DAY for a month to six weeks to get to Yei for the conference. Now, that is some commitment and dedication to the work and such servants are WORTHY, really WORTHY to be supported.

It has been TAX time again and I was taking stock of our supporters and partners. There are many on our mailing list from whom we have not heard for sometime. Shekinah is a small, personally based ministry. We have no backing or major financial support from any large church or organization. It certainly would be wonderful if some organization would come alongside and kick in $100,000 a year but that has not happened! This ministry is based on individuals and we really value RELATIONSHIP with our friends and partners. So many have been so faithful and I trust have been supremely blessed to see the growth of the work in Africa. Colleges, schools and the support program have seen the work of Shekinah/Kalibu mushrooming and being a blessing to so many and touching so many nations. The many who are not contributing financially or in prayer can be a great, great blessing. If everyone on our mailing list simply sent $20 a month, we would be able to explode the work. MALAWI ELECTIONS

It is absolutely imperative that EVERYONE on the mailing list obtains a copy of the Sudan book, "TO SAVE A NATION." In this incredible book, I explain the agenda of Islam to take over the Continent of Africa and change the name to the "Islamic Continent." and then from there, launching a campaign against USA and the whole world. This is so serious that you need to be informed. The USA is in grave danger and believers need to start being serious and pray! This plan of Islam has been utterly thwarted by nothing other than the power of true intercession. Intercession really does work. The frustration of Islam in this program has been dealt a blow in Southern Sudan and Malawi two incredibly strategic positions on the African Continent. The Malawian president, a Moslem, who has attempted to Islamize Malawi and almost succeeded in introducing Sharia Law has been frustrated through intercession when everything seemed totally lost. A small band of intercessors in Malawi lead by our beloved Pastor Paisley Mavatulah so broke through with God as to utterly prevent the Change of Constitution bill that would have given the Moslem president another term in office so as to complete his Islamization program. More importantly, the Church had utterly sold out to the president who paid millions to church leaders of ALL DENOMINATIONS and persuasions in bribes to follow him and have their congregations support him. Through the same intercession, the Church has heard the wake up call and repented and mobilized her people to the extent that a born again leader, sympathetic to the Church is going to be elected next week. This is an amazing reversal in a sequence of events that are so astounding as to be earth shattering though they will never be reported nor recognized on the world arena.

Beloved, you MUST be more informed about what is happening in Africa for out of Africa is coming a power that will save your nation and already is doing so. The trumpet has sounded to the United States and the Church better start interceding NOW for your president to run a second term! What the Lord has done in Malawi, He is able to do in USA!

The wave of jubilation and victory is so strong in Malawi that it is literally sweeping the incumbent into office and this mobilization is from the grass roots church motivated by the hidden power of intercession. The battle has been tough and lasted nine long years but the LORD prevailed when all else seemed lost. In "TO SAVE A NATION"
I have reported ABSOLUTE victory long before the event because we had broken through in intercession and received the SURE WORD of the Lord.
