I have become greatly concerned as to why the BODY OF CHRIST especially in the nations is so troubled by sicknesses and especially mental problems. The Bible promises us DIVINE HEALTH. This being the case, sickness especially of the mind must be as a result of direct satanic activity in our lives, our failure to eat a balanced diet that leaves the body depleted of vital minerals or plain disobedience to solid Biblical directives on health, hygiene and diet.  MOST CHRISTIANS ARE NEVER HONEST ABOUT THEMSELVES EVEN TO GOD and therefore cannot enjoy the blessings of sins forgiven and freedom promised in 1 John 1:9.  Many have become offended because I have openly stated that outside of an accident that injuries the brain or a birth defect, mental problems are a direct result of demonic activity. In every case that I have solidly interviewed, this has proven to be the situation. Believers will, however, trust the psychiatrist rather the Word and the Holy Spirit.  The only answer that medical science can offer is to keep a person "drugged" which does nothing other than encourage the demonic control.  There is one other very important area that I believe opens the door to sickness and mental problems and is also the cause in many cases of the ever increasing cases of burn out that is being experienced especially amongst spiritual leaders.  This area is GOD'S JUDGMENT upon believers.  The BODY OF CHRIST has taken far too lightly the charge given at the Table of the Lord.  This charge is WHOSOEVER SHALL EAT THIS BREAD AND DRINK THIS CUP UNWORTHILY - that is, not discerning the LORD'S BODY - shall be GUILTY of the body and blood of the Lord and shall eat and drink CONDEMNATION or DAMNATION. For this cause - the cause of not RIGHTLY DISCERNING THE BODY OF CHRIST = CHURCH - many are WEAK AND SICKLY AMONG YOU and MANY SLEEP.  The very place that we are to remember and be blessed by our sins washed away becomes the very place of cursing in our lives.  So many believers are super critical of anything they perceive as "new." NEW persons, NEW teachings, NEW praise and worship, NEW churches are all met with a barrage of venomous criticism.  Some things that are new are not correct but many things are simply new to many believers and remember, THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN.  The real problem is that a man of God feels THREATENED so resorts to the "killing instinct.

 

"Saul was the anointed of the Lord.  The Spirit had come upon him and he BECAME ANOTHER MAN and was numbered with the prophets.  David was also an anointed man of God.  When David came into the presence of Saul and killed Goliath and was brought to the palace and entered into a covenant with Jonathan, Saul's son, Saul changed his attitude towards David and tried to kill him because he felt THREATENED and AFRAID of the NEW man 'on the block.'  As soon as he felt threatened, he THREATENED.  Today, an anointed man of God does not pick up a literal javelin and throw it much as he would like to do so.  No, instead, he destroys with the javelin of WORDS: criticism, backbiting and gossip. Of the seven things in Proverbs 6: 16-18 that are an abomination to the Lord, THREE have to do with the TONGUE.  Out of the abundance of the HEART, the mouth speaks.  Beloved, you ARE the anointed of the Lord.  If you are super critical because you "don't like," or "you don't agree," or "you don't understand," then keep your mouth shut and do not throw a javelin at another of God's anointed or you will eat and drink DAMNATION, not discerning the LORD'S BODY, the Church.  When Saul threw a javelin at David, he opened his life and MIND to be tormented by a DEVIL.  Today he would say he had suddenly became schizophrenic.  No, beloved, he had a devil and the only one who could bring relief was the one at whom he was casting javelins.

 

LISTEN to me: if you don't like the new praise and worship, the new teaching, the new passion and fire, the new, fresh anointing then better to shut up than reap the judgment of the Lord.  Saul, under the hand of God's judgment, received a spirit that tormented him. There was no such a thing as valium to help in those days but there was an anointed man of God. Amazingly, every time that David came and played and worshipped, the spirit left until Saul went back to throwing javelins and was possessed again.  You might attend a most anointed meeting and experience relief only to return to throwing javelins at a member of the BODY of Christ and experience the DAMNATION of the Lord again.  Stop what you are doing or continue to experience your so-called schizophrenia, sickness or disease or whatever affliction you have. Yes, you were prayed for and experienced relief but your "problem" has returned.  Yes, it returned because you cannot leave another man's servant to His own Master.  This is particularly applicable to men in the pulpit.  Leave another man's servant to his Master and your Master even if you do not agree with him. David was happily tending sheep.  He did not choose to be the anointed of the Lord to lead Israel.  God called him to that position and many were his enemies because they did not understand what the Lord desired to accomplish in Israel because they could not see beyond their own short sighted ministries and offices that they so desperately fought to preserve.

 

The answer to your predicament is simple:

 

1. RECOGNIZE your sin

 

2. Acknowledge your sin

 

3. REPENT of your sin and TURN AWAY FROM IT FOREVER

 

4. Ask God to lift His DAMNATION upon your life

 

5. Go FREE and sin no more

 

NEW ORLEANS

 

 

“Over two weeks after the hurricane, there are still sections of our Area of Operation still under water. In most places, the water is black as pitch and reeks. The smell is a combination of sewage, rotting garbage and dead animals. I accidentally got into it yesterday afternoon and my pants looked as if I'd spray painted them black. Frankly, it doesn't even look like water as it is utterly opaque. Underneath an I-610 overpass at the west side of our sector, water covers the road to almost the floor of a Humvee in places.

 

We've met some great characters in our area--men and women who refused to leave and have survived on sheer grit since the storm destroyed New Orleans. One is an elderly man named Alphonse, who served 24 years in the Marines. He saw a New Orleans cop trying to loot his neighbor's house earlier this week. He fired a warning shot at the guy (who was dressed in civilian clothes with only a shirt that said "Police" on it). The cops descended on Alphonse. He was detained, taken down to the main police HQ by the cruise ship depot on the river, and left there for hours. The guy is in his late 60's, so it was a sad thing to hear about. Anyway, the New Orleans PD took away all his guns, “liberated” other items, and then kept him in custody until late that evening.  When they let him go, they just opened the door downtown and said "Get out."  So, this old man walked all the way back up here with no food, no water, through block after block of darkened buildings and homes. He made it back to his place and is living with a neighbor's dog he's been taking care of.

 

For the record, the news about Bush being to blame over this is just nonsense. The blame for this total cluster-you-know-what rests squarely on the shoulders of the Mayor, the Governor, and the New Orleans police. The latter are the most unimpressive bunch I've ever seen. They loot, they  are rude, they almost drew down on our colonel not too long ago, and they act irrational. We were warned about them in a battalion staff briefing last week. They decamped from New Orleans and set up their HQ in Baton Rouge, if you can believe that. So, the cops in this town basically officially left for over a week. They re-established a temporary HQ in the office of a cruise line company down along the docks. I was down there earlier this week - it is behind the Convention Center. They're in their with air conditioning blasting full bore so that the interior is actually chilly. They've got food--boxes of chips, peanuts and sunflower seeds--stacked all over the place. One can only wonder where they got it. And the guys inside were downright unimpressive with their professionalism and manners.

 

On the street, we meet these NOPD types as they've gone back into their homes to see what they can salvage. I've met eight this way, including one from internal affairs and one member of the NO SWAT team. Okay, of these eight, only the SWAT team member did not have rental houses all over the ghetto we're in. Why police officers are slum lords in the worst area of town - an area that apparently they won't even patrol - is beyond me.  New Orleans needs to start fresh with a new mayor and a new police force. Until the police force is totally reorganized from top to bottom, this city will remain vulnerable to a repeat of what has happened here.

 

The water damage is extensive, but the looting (which the police took part in), is just as bad in places. The good news is our troops have done an outstanding job under extreme conditions. They are living primitive lives, sleeping outside in the heat with mosquitoes, chiggers, cockroaches and frogs. They're morale is good, though most wish we were doing more. We have not been allowed to break into houses to carry out "secondary searches" for survivors, so they've been keeping the streets safe and conducting exterior searches. Yesterday, in 90 degree weather, one of the companies went out and cleared the St. Bernard Projects. These are the worst examples of public housing I've ever seen: 3-5 story hell holes built of concrete and brick. They look like something straight out of Oliver Twist.  In the heat and humidity, the men went floor to floor checking for survivors, and the snipers who have been taking pot-shots at fire trucks as they pass by.

 

One final point: when folks blame the Army and Bush for not getting the National Guard down here quickly enough, they don't understand how the chain of command works. Here is the scoop: thanks to the Homeland Security Act National Guard troops from other states can come to the aid of a stricken state. Okay, in more clear terms: when New Orleans got hit by the hurricane and needed help, it is legal and there is a process in place that allows National Guard troops from Oregon, Washington, Oklahoma, etc. to be activated and sent to Louisiana to help. HOWEVER, the Federal Government DOES NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY to do this. (Posse Comitatus) The request must come from the governor of the stricken state to the governor of the National Guard unit getting the request. So, in our case, the Guard was mobilized only AFTER receiving a direct appeal for help from the Governor of Loisiana. The appeal for troops went to our Governor's office. As commander in chief of the Guard, he gave the order to send us down. We received our mobilization order a week after the Hurricane. It took four days to find air transport for us to get down to New Orleans, otherwise the brigade could have left the day after the order came through.  Now, exactly why it took a week for the Governor of Louisiana to appeal outside her home state for help is a question that needs to be looked at quite seriously. Talking to Louisiana National Guardsmen down here has made it obvious that the units in New Orleans were hit tremendously hard when the levees broke. The troops were in place at their home armories awaiting orders when the levees broke. At Jackson Armory, the water rushed in so quickly that in 15 minutes it was chest high. The infantry unit there lost almost all its weapons and equipment and had to be air-lifted to safety from the roof of their building. With that sort of impact to the local Guard units, and with much of the rest of the state's troops in Iraq, the appeal for help should have been made hours after the levees broke, not a week later.

AMAZING ACCURACY

 

The Russian philosopher Vladimir Solovjov wrote this article and gave lectures on this topic to his students, some of who were so incensed that they walked out after the lecture in the year 1900. Solovjov died the same year. This clip is included in a booklet gathered from his last writings. Solovjov himself actually believed in theocracy or the rule of God and believed that it was the only way to sort out the social upheavals of Europe. It must b e remembered that this "prophecy" was given 17 years before the Russian revolution.

 

Here is what he wrote in 1900:

 

"Next century will be a time of great wars. As a result of *world wars* we will enter into a united Europe. It will be a form or type of a United States of Europe. This Union will eventually have a united governmental organ called the 'European Council.' And when it is proved that it is impossible to lead this loose union of nations, they will, using the excuse of 'security reasons' strengthen this united Europe into a single federal state. At that time a former elder European general will be appointed to lead this new federal state. He will also be a great financial investor who has connections to the financial world as well as retaining great military powers. He will succeed in his leadership task in the most excellent way. Using his great wealth and military powers he will prepare the way for his successor. This successor who finally rules Europe will be the greatest philanthopist and benefactor ever known to all mankind. He will be the antichrist.”
